Role overview

The F & B Supervisor, is responsible for all administrative duties in the department such as attendance, log books, deliveries, preparing attendance for payroll, assisting new joiners, etc.

Conditions of work

While main duties are predominately carried out in the F & B facility, work may be required in other areas of the property.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Record keeping of all day to day activities
• Filing & maintaining of files
• Coordinating among all sections of Food & Beverage
• Distributing of information to departments & sections
• Assisting Food & Beverage outlets whenever required
• All other secretarial works relevant to the department
• Flexible with working hours Checks the food & beverage outlets' reservation lists, hotel arrival list & conference
• Is proficient in all food & beverage procedures
• Surveys department's overall service and team work daily, and makes recommendations for improvement to outlet in-charges
• Monitors food & beverage sales, working closely with Executive Chef, maintains an updated recipe file for all food and beverage
• Assists in ensuring highest levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality guest
• Plans and co-ordinates in-house activities and package plans with Food & Beverage Manager & Executive Chef, etc.
• Gathers guest feedback to identify and correct departments' weaknesses
• Contributes ideas to local sales promotions in order to maintain competitiveness
• Check competitors facilities and pricing policies to best position Food & Beverage operation in the local market
• Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately
• Fully understands the Resorts fire, emergency, and emergency procedures
• Ensures that emergency procedures are practiced and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
• Ensures that employees work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others
• Stimulates and encourages a general awareness of health and safety in tasks and activities carried out within the division
• Ensures the safety of the people and property within the premises by applying Resort regulations, adhering to existing laws and regulations
• Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and either corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening
• Ensures that the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct of hotel employees is maintained by all employees in the department
• Follow company policies and procedures, demonstrate efficient teamwork and contribute to the achievement of business goals
• Any additional duties or tasks assigned by your supervisor that are required for the smooth running of your department

• Salary package: 1,800 to 2,000 AED (depending on experience) +250 AED additional allowance upon completion of 6 mos. + sharing accommodation (no-live out allowance) + 3 x Meals/day + free uniform + free transportation inside the company + Every 2 years ticket cash (roundtrip to home country) + visa & medical insurance will be provided + no overtime pay but extra hours can be taken depending on operational requirements of the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
