Job Title: External Auditor

Location: Dubai

Reports To: Audit Manager

Job Summary:

The External Auditor conducts independent and objective audits to assess the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records and practices. The auditor ensures that financial statements are fairly presented according to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role includes detailed analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations to improve internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Statement Audits:
• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements in alignment with accounting principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
• Assess the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements.
• Identify potential misstatements or discrepancies and ensure corrective action.
• Internal Control Evaluation:
• Examine and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's internal control systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and test control processes.
• Provide recommendations to improve internal control mechanisms.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure the organization's adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Identify financial and operational risks and suggest mitigating strategies.
• Prepare and present audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.
• Prepare and present final audit reports to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Communicate audit results effectively to clients or organization stakeholders.
• Address questions or concerns regarding audit findings and processes.
• Foster positive client relationships to ensure trust and ongoing compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in external Auditing.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in audit software, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and objectivity.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work extended hours, especially during peak audit periods.
• Some travel may be required to client sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
