Exterior Designer Responsibilities & Duties Leading and participating in the design process from conception to completion Collaborating with project teams to develop creative solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations Creating 2D and 3D design presentations, including sketches, renderings, and computer-generated images Conducting research to stay current with the latest design trends and technologies Communicating design ideas and details effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality

Exterior Designer Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in design software Experience with sustainable design practices Strong portfolio showcasing exterior design projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of building codes and regulations Experience working with multidisciplinary teams Creative problem-solving abilities Strong project management skills Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense 5+ years of experience in the design industry, with a focus on exterior design Ability to work independently and as part of a team
