Job Description

SynopsisScreening of all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as reviewing all contracts with regards to Export Control Regulations within EY Engineering.Accountabilities

Approve all export control transactions all the time maintaining strong oversight of the programme and of all departments that are involved in exporting an item.
Control the re exporting of parts and technology from EYEng in accordance with contractual commitments with suppliers and trade regulations of governmental agencies.
Conduct Periodic internal audit with dispatch department to make sure that Record keeping requirement are met as set by the Regulations.
Provide accurate guidance to the business on export control related issues. Keep the business informed of regulatory updates providing advice and guidance on complying with new requirements as required.
Review and provide advice for all Third-party contracts which required Export Compliance to be included.
Work with regulatory bodies to secure relevant export control licenses as needed to ensure compliance and avoid regulatory penalties
Implement and embed the export control policies and procedures within Etihad Airways Engineering to ensure export control compliance.
Implement processes to ensure that 100% of suppliers and customers and parts are screened for export control compliance.

Education & Experience

Complying with US Export Controls from Bureau of Industry and Security - United States of America
Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field to work as Export Control Officer and minimum 5 years\' experience to work and manage Export Control
