As a prominent figure in the maritime industry, we specialize in the transportation of clean petroleum products. We are currently in search of seasoned and committed MR Tanker Operators to join our vibrant team. Pre Fixture Responsibilities: Voyage Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize voyages for maximum efficiency and profitability. Coordinate with port agents, terminals, and other stakeholders for smooth port operations. Detailed planning as per CP clauses to execute the voyage smoothly. Cargo Planning: Coordinate with shippers and receivers to ensure proper cargo handling. Prepare stowage plans and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Planning and preparing vessel for change of cargo grade as required. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks. Ensure compliance with all relevant international regulations and company policies. Post Fixture Responsibilities: Voyage Execution: Monitor the vessel's performance and voyage execution. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of voyage progress. Operational Coordination: Coordinate with masters, agents, and other parties for efficient port operations. Resolve any operational issues that arise during the voyage. Claims and Dispute Resolution: Manage post-fixture claims, including demurrage, deviation, and performance claims. Handle disputes and negotiate settlements with counterparts. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time. Maintain records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Monitoring Responsibilities: Voyage Monitoring: Track vessel movements and ensure adherence to the voyage plan. Monitor fuel consumption and vessel performance metrics. Communication: Maintain regular communication with the vessel and relevant stakeholders. Provide updates and reports to senior management. Performance Analysis: Analyze voyage performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare performance reports and suggest optimization strategies. Qualifications: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in MR tanker operations. In-depth knowledge of charter party agreements, voyage planning, and post-fixture activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in using maritime operations software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred.
