We are looking for experience Executive Pastry Chef that will handle the following:
1. Production Oversight & Staff Management:
- Oversee daily production of all pastry, cake, and chocolate items, maintaining quality and efficiency to meet demand.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff in production techniques and quality standards, ensuring team alignment with the company's high standards.
2. Product Development & Trend Integration:
- Drive innovation in product development, creating new and seasonal pastries, cakes, and chocolate offerings that align with current and emerging market trends.
- Research industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to ensure the menu stays relevant and appealing.
- Test and refine recipes to balance creativity, flavor, and presentation, ensuring each product meets quality and taste standards.
3. Quality Assurance & Consistency:
- Establish clear quality benchmarks for all products, focusing on taste, texture, presentation, and consistency across production.
- Conduct regular product evaluations and tastings, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
- Oversee product presentation, including portion sizes and packaging, to meet brand standards and customer expectations.
4. Ingredient Sourcing & Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage inventory and ingredient sourcing, ensuring the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients that align with market trends.
- Monitor ingredient costs and usage to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to secure premium ingredients and explore new options for innovative products.
5. Compliance & Kitchen Operations:
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the kitchen.
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of kitchen equipment, tools, and storage for safe and efficient operations.
- Develop and enforce protocols to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment at all times.
6. Market Analysis & Customer Feedback:
- Actively analyze market demands and customer feedback to refine existing products and develop new offerings that enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Create seasonal or limited-edition products based on trends and holiday demand to attract new and repeat customers.
