This position is responsible for procedures and plans for high volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
The position also expects the candidate to find, source and retain high caliber talents by conducting college visits, attending career fairs, attending network events, and by leveraging social media and job portals.
The position is responsible for direction and management of smooth on-boarding process of the new employees and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Capital functions across the Organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITYBusiness Partnering
As an advisor to the functional heads and line managers on critical matters of employees and contribute on matters relating to the departmental objectives in terms of recruitment of employees, job profiles, the performance and conduct of employees, retention of key employees, and succession planning.
Understanding and leading recruitment dynamics for brands of Apparel Group and aligning them to business goals and change keeping focus on growth.
Establishing short, medium and long-term objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
Strategic Capability Building Interventions
Working closely various HR functions like performance management systems, people development, compensation and benefits, HR operations to ensure smooth execution of HR strategies.
Closely working with the training team to develop second in command for critical positions, preparing succession for focused leadership development within the organization
Strategize industry-wise HR best practices, lead change related to organizational level employee satisfaction surveys.
Leadership development - coaching and mentoring junior managers. Identifying the development needs and building coaching and mentoring strategies to improve employee knowledge and skills.
Resolving conflict/cross-functional issues of brand heads, department heads, and vendors.
Employee Relations Management
Ensure operational stakeholders are informed on critical issues, changes and progress.
Lead implementation of strategic people engagement interventions, periodic feedback sessions, social-cultural activities, suggestion schemes etc. to build a listening culture across the Group, town hall session.
Intervening and resolving conflicts and managing select internal and external complaints, settling disputes where stakes are high.
Talent Acquisition
Partners with key business leaders and HR teams to develop staffing/talent management plans that anticipate staffing and workforce development needs in support of identified business strategies.
Developing strategies focused on talent acquisition and retention, compensation structure, policies and ethos building including best HR practices.
Assisting and as part of the HR team driving recruitment, compensation, staff welfare, engagement, capability building, regulatory and statutory compliances in an environment of 100% plus annual growth.
DESIRED EXPERIENCEThe ideal Executive - Human Capital in a retail company should have 3+ years of progressive experience in human resource/HRMS/administration.
