Job Summary This position is responsible for the comprehensive leadership, planning, guest service, strategic sales, and financial performance of the overall Aquaventure Operations, Guest Services, Resort Recreation, Admissions, & Resort Pool Operations. The Executive Director works closely with other levels of management throughout the department and the resort to better understand and effectively manage their team-based goals and philosophies while maximizing revenues and maintaining high levels of guest quality and satisfaction. Key Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates with the Vice President Aquaventure to operate a superior Water Park experience. Supervises the Director of Admissions, Director of Operations, and Director of Guest Entertainment, along with their teams for optimal success Provide the synergy required to position, train, and motivate employees to provide a safe, high quality guest experience. Recruits and develops a professional and dedicated management and lifeguard team. Responsible for the annual operating budget by means of inventory control, procuring and ordering the required goods and service to successfully operate. Responsible for the overall payroll contribution to the bottom line by means of efficient scheduling practices & labor management. Manages operational expenses and inventory levels throughout the operation. Ensures that Aquaventure facilities are maintained at the highest level of quality. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment for employees and guests. Monitors and anticipates service needs to ensure a high quality and superior "blow-away" guest experience. Develops and maintains open and professional lines of communication with all departments that interact with the Aquaventure World Operations. Oversee Aquaventure Guest Services, Admissions, AV Operations, & Recreation Departments to ensure optimal results To ensure aesthetical look and feel throughout the park, landscaping, signage, before and during operational hours and reports defects etc. Oversees the daily operation of the Guest Services / Recreational / Leisure areas within the waterpark, resort pools, and beaches. This includes the planning, facilitating, and management of: Atlantis Watersports Atlantis Tennis Facilities Daily Activations for both Resort and Waterpark Guests across Atlantis Dubai Aquaventure World Events - Waterpark specific Liaison with Park Photo Operations for Aquaventure World services Fosters & Drives guest engagement throughout operational hours. Assist with the management of the daily operation of the Guest Services / Recreational / Leisure areas within the waterpark, resort pools, and beaches. Oversee Manager of Projects and Administration to assist where needed on any Aquaventure World improvements. Oversee Manager of Training Aquaventure World to assist where needed on any divisional training needs. Responsible for Aquaventure P&L management including forecasting, accruals, & P&L calls. Direct management of Directors, Managers, Assistant Managers, & Team Leaders & Colleagues for Aquaventure World Operations. Development of the Management team through annual performance reviews and Performance Development Plans. Performing disciplinary and counseling when needed to ensure accountability and performance expectations are met. Achieve Colleague Engagement to maintain engaged colleagues throughout the course of the year. Ensure 100% compliance in the operation at all times as per third party and local governing standards. Carry out the daily inspections of the waterpark, pools and beaches prior to colleagues and guest use. Any and all additional duties that may be asked in order to successfully, efficiently and safely operate all Aquaventure World Operations including but not limited to Resort Recreation Operations at Atlantis the Palm and Atlantis the Royal. Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements Degree in related discipline. Waterpark / Themepark Experience within all operational areas 10+ years Preferable Lifeguard Management / Instructor Experience 10+ years Proficient in all MS Office applications Strong interpersonal skills & Organizational skills Strong administrative abilities accompanying a strong customer focus.
