Position : Senior Chef / Executive Chef
Cuisine : Desi Street Food, Kebabs, and Related Dishes
Location : Festival Plaza, Jebel Ali, Dubai
Salary : AED 3,000 per month
Duty Hours : 10 hours per day
Weekly Off : 1 day

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef/Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations at our restaurant in Festival Plaza, Jebel Ali , specializing in authentic Desi street food, kebabs, and related dishes. The ideal candidate should have exceptional culinary expertise, strong management skills, and a focus on operational efficiency, sales generation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Culinary Excellence :
• Oversee the preparation, taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
• Mastery in Tandoor cooking and Desi street food techniques.
• Kitchen Operations :
• Monitor and control daily food consumption, sales, and wastage.
• Ensure timely and efficient dispatch of orders while maintaining consistency.
• Manage inventory and food costs to minimize wastage and improve profitability.
• Health and Safety Compliance :
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Team Leadership :
• Motivate, train, and manage the kitchen staff to ensure peak performance.
• Approve recipes, portions, and measurements to standardize operations.
• Assist the team in upselling dishes and improving customer experience.
• Sales and Reporting :
• Drive both online and offline sales through strategic planning and execution.
• Prepare detailed reports on food costs, wastage, and sales performance.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination :
• Work closely with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Customer Focus :
• Occasionally interact with guests to gather feedback on food quality and service.
• Use feedback to improve kitchen operations and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Staff Scheduling :
• Create and manage kitchen staff schedules to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Event Support :
• Assist in planning food offerings for catering orders or special promotions.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Desi cuisine, with a strong focus on Tandoor cooking.
• Proven expertise in managing kitchen operations and staff.
• Familiarity with online food delivery platforms and sales strategies.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage costs effectively and maintain profitability.
