Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our renowned 5-star hotel. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu creation, and culinary presentations, ensuring an extraordinary dining experience for our guests. This role requires an innovative chef who excels in team leadership, cost management, and maintaining the highest standards in food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Menu Development & Culinary Innovation:
• Design and implement creative, high-quality menus that align with the hotel's brand and meet guest expectations.
• Develop seasonal and themed menus for all outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and events.
• Stay updated with culinary trends, experimenting with new ingredients and techniques to enhance guest experiences.
• Operational Management:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations across all outlets, ensuring efficient workflow and consistent quality.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation standards to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
• Financial & Cost Management:
• Develop and manage the kitchen's budget, including food cost, inventory, and labor control.
• Analyze financial reports, monitor expenses, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
• Source quality ingredients cost-effectively, managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Leadership & Team Development:
• Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to deliver excellence.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
• Guest Experience:
• Engage with guests as needed, receiving feedback to continuously enhance the dining experience.
• Work with the F&B team to customize dining experiences for special events, VIP guests, and private dining requests.
• Ensure a consistent and high level of guest satisfaction across all culinary operations.
• Kitchen Safety & Maintenance:
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and used safely; arrange repairs as needed.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols, ensuring all kitchen staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular kitchen audits to uphold cleanliness, safety, and food quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of culinary experience, with at least 3 years as an Executive Chef in a 5-star hotel or fine dining establishment.
• Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food costing, and kitchen management.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and a passion for culinary innovation.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
