Job Title: Events and Catering Manager Location: Bahrain Package: up to 2,000 BHD per month, plus benefits (medical self and spouse, annual flights, annual bonus etc). Im currently supporting an amazing hospitality group, in Bahrain, with their search for an Events and Catering Manager. The group have a number of incredible concepts under their banner, and have been able to organically expand across the Kingdom. That being said, they are now actively looking to bring on:board the person who will be responsible for further expanding and growing this segment of the business. In short, youll be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all event and catering services. You will be the the liaison between the client, sales team, food and beverage department and the operational staff to ensure the seamless execution of events. The Key Focus Area of this position and Primary deployment is centred around Weddings, Social and private Events, VIP Diners, including galas, ceremonies, graduations, anniversaries, etc. What youll need: * A minimum of 5+ years of experience in catering and event planning field / luxury hotel background in a similar role * Preference given to Arabic speakers but dependent upon experience and contacts * Ideally to have experience and a network of contacts in Bahrain * Excellent personal computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office software and at least * 1 year experience with Delph, Opera and/or comparable convention management software. * Possess above average verbal and written communication skills. * Must possess excellent organizational skills. * Ability to meet deadlines and handle difficult situations. * Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. * Must be flexible and able to travel as required.
