Job Description

Position Summary:

The Events and Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Events and Catering division for our restaurant chain. This role will focus on increasing revenue by securing and managing events, developing catering options, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through events and catering services.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for events and catering.

Event Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events including corporate gatherings, private parties, and special occasions.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met.
• Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including setup, staffing, and service delivery

Catering Services:

• Develop and promote a diverse range of catering options tailored to various client needs.
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.
• Manage the catering team to ensure efficient and effective service.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction and gather feedback for improvement.

Marketing and Promotion:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for events and catering services.
• Utilize social media, digital marketing, and other channels to reach potential clients.

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets for events and catering projects.
• Monitor expenses and ensure all events and catering services are delivered within budget.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise the events and catering team.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business development or events and catering management, within the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Familiarity with the UAE market and cultural nuances is a plus.
