Job Purpose
Event Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the event. Event Manager is accountable for management and coordination, developing
and refining workflows, quality control, and delivering the event successfully. He/she is responsible for managing events and ensuring deadlines and
budgets are adhered to. Directs coordination of activities to prepare for the day of the event and contains all event operations, coordinates, and guides the work of relevant team members, clients, and vendors towards delivering assigned projects. Zone Manager should reinforce client-to-business relations, improve the organization's image, and effectively deliver on event objectives.
Key Accountability Activities
Event Planning Lead the development of comprehensive event plans, encompassing timelines, logistics, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event objectives, ensuring alignment with client goals.
Budget Management - Manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts to maintain financial adherence. - Analyze expenditure against budgetary constraints, adjusting as necessary.
Visitor Experience
Spearhead the conceptualization and implementation of immersive and engaging visitor experiences.
- Work closely with creative teams to ensure the event's atmosphere aligns with the envisioned experience.
Content & Program Drive the development of compelling event content and program agendas, considering audience engagement and
thematic relevance.
Coordinate with speakers, performers, and content creators to ensure a cohesive program.
Layout & Creative Design
Oversee the development of event layouts, optimizing space for functionality and aesthetic appeal. - Provide direction for creative design elements to enhance the event's visual impact.
Fabrication & Installation
Manage fabrication timelines, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of event elements. - Supervise installation processes, ensuring efficient setup while maintaining quality standards.
Logistics & Technical Requirements
Plan logistics meticulously, including transportation, equipment, and venue requirements.
- Coordinate technical aspects such as AV setups, lighting, and other technical necessities.
Facilities & Crowd Management
- Coordinate facilities planning, including seating arrangements, amenities, and safety measures.
- Develop crowd management strategies and oversee usher teams to maintain a smooth flow of attendees.
Client Management & Protocols
- Establish strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and aligning event plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with the client's protocols team to implement necessary procedures and ensure a seamless event experience.
Catering & Guest Management
Evaluate catering options based on client preferences and event requirements.
- Work closely with guest managers to ensure VIP guest needs are met and manage their experience effectively.
Requirements
Education & Certification:
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 8 to10 years of experience in Events, or a related role.
Other:
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail in event planning and design.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic event environments.
