We are looking for a driven Event Manager to join UrbanMatch on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing our mixers that enhance our attendees experience and UrbanMatch\xe2\x80\x99s brand visibility. These events should be creative, align with our brand values, and effectively communicate our identity and mission to a broader audience. What do we expect you to do: Plan, design, and produce mixers with the internal core team and mixer hosts while managing all project delivery elements within time limits. Liaise with mixer hosts to identify the needs and ensure attendee satisfaction. Propose ideas to improve provided services and mixer quality. Organise facilities and manage all event\xe2\x80\x99s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize the event. Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day. Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes. Qualifications: Proven experience as an event manager. A portfolio of previously managed events is advantageous. Skilled in project management. Computer savvy Outstanding communication and negotiation ability. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. A knack for problem-solving.
