Job Description

The Event Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with event companies to ensure seamless event planning, execution, and post-event management at [Client's Venue]. This role requires a qualified engineer to conduct load calculations, oversee the installation of event infrastructure, and ensure strict adherence to the Event Guideline Handbook. The Event Engineer will also manage day-to-day correspondence with event organizers, maintain site policies during events, and conduct post-event condition surveys to assess damages and coordinate deductions where necessary. Roles, Responsibilities, Duties 1. Event Coordination & Compliance

Act as the primary liaison between the client and event companies . Ensure all events adhere to the Event Guideline Handbook and venue policies. Review event plans, layouts, and structural setups to ensure safety and feasibility. Obtain approvals for event-related infrastructure, such as staging, lighting, and power distribution . 2. Engineering & Technical Oversight

Perform load calculations to ensure compliance with structural and electrical safety regulations. Oversee the safe installation of event-related equipment, including rigging, sound systems, and temporary structures . Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams to manage power distribution and safety compliance. Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate structural or operational hazards. 3. Site Management & Event Execution

Supervise event setup and dismantling to ensure adherence to approved designs and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with site policies and safety protocols during live events. Coordinate with security, facility management, and external stakeholders for smooth event execution. Address technical issues that may arise during events to prevent disruptions. 4. Post-Event Assessment & Damage Control

Conduct post-event condition surveys to evaluate any venue damages. Work closely with the facility management team to document and report findings. Ensure appropriate financial deductions or recovery for any damages caused by event organizers. Provide insights and recommendations for future event improvements . Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related discipline). Certifications in event management, structural safety, or electrical compliance are an advantage. Experience and skills:

3-5 years of experience in event management, engineering, or venue operations . Hands-on experience in load calculations, structural safety assessments, and power distribution for events. Background in working with event production teams, facility management, and regulatory authorities . Seniority level
