We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning and execution, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization to execution, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality events that align with our clients' objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints.
• Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas that meet clients' needs and expectations.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and resources for events.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, audiovisual equipment, and decor.
• Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate event setup, breakdown, and onsite logistics, ensuring smooth execution of all event activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and event staff throughout the planning and execution process.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to event planning and management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
• Certification in event planning (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional) is a plus.
