Job Title: Event Coordinator
Location: Dubai
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of success in managing events of various sizes. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, with a focus on leveraging meetup and event bride platforms to enhance attendee engagement and streamline event logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Event Planning and Coordination:
• Plan, organize, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are seamlessly coordinated.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and requirements.
• Utilize meetup and event bride platforms to promote events, manage RSVPs, and facilitate communication with attendees.
• Coordinate venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and other logistical elements.
• Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Attendee Engagement and Experience:
• Implement strategies to enhance attendee engagement and satisfaction before, during, and after events.
• Develop and execute creative ideas for event themes, activities, and interactive experiences.
• Monitor attendee feedback and make adjustments to improve future events.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution.
• Delegate tasks and oversee the work of event staff and volunteers as needed.
• Vendor and Partner Management:
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure quality service and support for events.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting:
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive event reports, including attendance metrics, feedback analysis, and budget reconciliation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience of 6 months in event planning and coordination, with a focus on meetups and event bride platforms.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Proficiency in event management software and platforms, including meetup and event bride tools.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
