Job Description

1. •Cost Estimation:• Accurately calculate the costs associated with aluminum and joinery projects by analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documentation.

2. •Material and Labor Analysis:• Determine the quantity and cost of materials required for projects, including aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, and joinery components. Estimate labor costs based on project requirements and industry standards.

3. •Bid Preparation:• Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids and proposals for potential projects, considering all aspects of the project including materials, labor, overhead, and profit margins.

4. •Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, lead times, and other pertinent information for materials and services required for projects. Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials.

5. •Cost Optimization:• Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards and meeting project specifications. Explore alternative materials, construction methods, and suppliers to achieve cost savings.

6. •Project Collaboration:• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and specifications. Ensure that cost estimates align with project goals and constraints.

7. •Documentation and Reporting:• Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, bids, and project documentation. Provide regular reports and updates to management and project teams regarding cost projections, variances, and potential risks.
