We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our fitout construction team in UAE. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to the successful execution of fitout construction projects.Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fitout construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and materials to provide accurate cost estimates.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and cost plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
- Participate in project tendering processes, including the preparation and submission of tender documents.
- Contribute to value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality and functionality.Salary:
AED 10,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the fitout construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Advanced proficiency in cost estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project requirements and drawings.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in cost estimation and budgeting.
- Familiarity with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards in the UAE region is preferred.
