Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team, specializing in aluminium and glass construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, cost plans, and bills of quantities for a wide range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other project documentation to determine the scope and requirements of the project.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for project materials, labour, and equipment, using industry-standard software and tools.
• Identify risks and opportunities associated with the project and provide recommendations to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives and timelines are met.
• Prepare tender documents and manage the tender process, including liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to the project team, highlighting any variances or potential issues.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects, including change orders and variations.
• Formulate a full complied BOQ of all required items.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E / B.Tech - Civil or a related field.
• Professional certification in facade engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facade engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to facade design and construction.
• Experience working with various facade materials and systems, such as glass, aluminum, and curtain walls.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD programs.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
