Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer cum Estimator to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in both the design and planning aspects of civil engineering projects, as well as provide accurate cost estimates and manage budgets. The role requires expertise in civil engineering principles, as well as proficiency in estimating project costs, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities : Civil Engineering Responsibilities :

• Design and Planning : Assist in the design, development, and planning of civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, buildings, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Site Evaluation : Conduct site surveys, assessments, and feasibility studies to ensure the proposed designs are suitable for the location and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Structural Analysis : Perform calculations and simulations to evaluate structural integrity and the safety of designs, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Technical Documentation : Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, plans, and specifications for project execution.
• Project Management Support : Assist in managing the day-to-day execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Estimator Responsibilities :

• Cost Estimation : Accurately prepare cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Tender Preparation : Assist in preparing and reviewing tenders, ensuring that estimates are in line with project scope and client requirements.
• Quantity Takeoff : Conduct quantity takeoff from project plans and drawings to determine the materials and labor needed for each phase of the project.
• Budgeting and Cost Control : Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs during project execution to ensure that projects remain within financial constraints.
• Risk Analysis : Identify and assess risks associated with project costs, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Value Engineering : Propose cost-saving alternatives and strategies without compromising the quality and safety of the project.
• Client Interaction : Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to clarify project details and negotiate costs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
