Job Description

Education & Experience:

• Qualification: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience working with Fit-Out Companies in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Review & Preparation:
• Review tender documents and prepare work estimates accordingly.
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) based on project specifications.
• Manage the full tendering process effectively.
• Technical Evaluation:
• Interpret and verify drawings, tender documents, quantities, and estimates.
• Perform quantity take-off for lump-sum projects.
• Review and provide comments on technical and commercial specifications.
• Cost Estimation:
• Identify key requirements and prepare project cost estimates.
• Develop costing sheets and ensure proper documentation.
• Review vendor quotations and subcontractor offers to align with project requirements.
• Prepare labor estimates for the operations team.
• Proposal Submission:
• Create and submit bids and proposals in line with project requirements.
• Project Cost Monitoring:
• Track project stages to ensure costs remain within forecasts.
• Specialized Estimation:
• Estimate costs for high-end, prestigious interior fit-out projects.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of quantity surveying and interior fit-out processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reviewing drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with UAE fit-out industry standards and practices.
