Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quotation Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the glass industry and be adept at reading and interpreting drawings to prepare accurate quotes. This role requires a strong understanding of glazing materials and techniques, along with excellent communication and numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate quotes for glass products and services.
• Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and project managers.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather necessary data for accurate estimating.
• Calculate total costs of materials, labor, and other expenses based on project specifications.
• Review and adjust quotes as projects evolve and change based on updated information.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all estimates and related documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quotation Estimator in the glass industry.
• Strong understanding of glazing techniques, materials, and cost estimation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the glass or construction industry with a focus on cost estimation.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and adjusting cost estimates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation skills to interact effectively with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
