Project Timeline & Scheduling:Work with project managers to develop a detailed timeline, considering both the interior construction and event setup phases.Ensure that material deliveries, subcontractor schedules, and event setup timelines are coordinated properly.Post-Project Evaluation:Once a project is completed, perform post-project evaluations, including final cost assessments and identifying areas where cost estimates could be improved for future projects.

Skills and Qualifications:Experience:Previous experience as an estimator in the construction industry, particularly with a focus on interiors or event-related projects.Knowledge of the unique requirements for event-specific building projects (temporary structures, flexible layouts, logistics).

Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of building codes, construction materials, and methods for both permanent and temporary structures.Familiarity with event-specific setups, including technical equipment, flooring, staging, and site logistics.

Software Skills:Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, RSMeans) and Excel for creating cost breakdowns and budgeting.Familiarity with CAD software may be a plus, especially when working on interior design elements or planning event layouts.

Attention to Detail:Ability to meticulously calculate quantities, costs, and resource needs, ensuring that no detail is overlooked in the budgeting process.Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and project teams.Ability to present complex cost information clearly and professionally.Problem-Solving:Quick thinking to adjust estimates as new challenges arise, especially in event projects where last-minute changes are common.
