We are a leading Display Solution, Signage, Exhibition and Graphics production company Located in Dubai Production City. We are currently seeking proactive, dynamic candidates to join our expanding team in the role of Estimator. Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the team to analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements and to assist in the preparation of estimated cost for the project.
- Preparing BOQ and Estimates from concept sketches.
- Support the analysis of project risks and uncertainties and their impact on project costs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by vendors promptly and professionally.
- Identify local suppliers and vendors for raw materials required for projects.
- Well versed with the local regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to cost estimation in Dubai.
- Compute costs by analyzing Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents
- Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done
- Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
- Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least two years of UAE/GCC working experience as an Estimator in Advertising, Signages, Printing or Interior fit-out industry.
- Strong purchasing experience with local raw materials is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attentive to every detail, ability handle pressure to meet deadline
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD is must
- Proficient in MS excel, word etc.
- Can join immediately
- Strong Negotiation and analyzation skills to obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers, contractors and vendors within a specified timeframe.
- Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor and equipment
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.
