As an Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and communicate with customers, insurance companies, and internal teams to facilitate smooth and efficient repair processes. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, cost control, and timely completion of repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect vehicles to assess damage, identify repair needs, and determine necessary parts, labor, and materials for repairs.
• Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using estimating software and industry guidelines, ensuring transparency and clarity for customers and insurance companies.
• Communicate with customers to explain repair options, cost estimates, timelines, and insurance coverage, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Coordinate with the parts department to source and order necessary parts and materials for repairs, ensuring timely availability and accuracy of orders.
• Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and other internal teams to schedule repair jobs, allocate resources, and prioritize work based on urgency and customer needs.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters and representatives to ensure fair and accurate claim settlements, advocating for necessary repairs and quality standards.
• Monitor repair progress, update customers and insurance companies on status, and address any changes or additional work needed during the repair process.
• Maintain accurate records of repair estimates, parts orders, work orders, and communications with customers and insurance companies.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile repair costs, invoices, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in automotive technology, business administration, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as an estimator in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, estimating software, and insurance claim procedures.
• Arabic Speaker
• Excellent communication and negotiation.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Up on selection, the candidate must be willing to relocate to any location within UAE (Sharjah, Dubai or Abu Dhabi) •
