Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects based on project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes, to determine accurate project estimates.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and gather additional information for estimating purposes.
- Prepare and submit bid packages to clients in a timely manner.

- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Experience with cost control measures and strategies to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ability to negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids.
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
