Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1\. Review project drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to understand project requirements.

2\. Prepare detailed estimates, including material, labor, and overhead costs, to determine project costs.

3\. Assist in preparing tender documents, including pricing, schedules, and commercial terms.

4\. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, identify potential risks, and gather information for estimation.

5\. Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

6\. Identify opportunities for cost savings and propose alternative solutions without compromising project quality.

7\. Identify and assess potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.

8\. Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimation and project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

1\. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (Preferred): Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

2\. Professional certification: Certification from a recognized professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, or AIQS shall be an advantage.

4\. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and develop creative solutions.

5\. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

6\. Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimation and project delivery.

Industry Knowledge

1\. Interior fit-out industry: Knowledge of interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.

2\. Construction regulations and standards: Familiarity with local construction regulations, codes, and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000\.00 - AED6,000\.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• interior fit-out -UAE: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE driving License (Preferred)
