Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Estimation Engineer with expertise in LV Switchgear to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, knowledge of local standards and regulations, and the ability to manage technical discussions with consultants and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all designs and estimations comply with UAE authorities' standards and regulations for LV Switchgear, including but not limited to ADDC, ADQCC, AADC, and DEWA.
• Estimation and Design:
• Perform estimations for LV Panels, MCCs, Capacitor Banks, ATS, and other related systems.
• Create and verify calculations for Short Circuit Current, Temperature Rise, Busbar Sizing, Capacitor Bank Steps, and other key parameters.
• Technical Leadership:
• Lead and participate in technical discussions with consultants and clients to address queries, provide clarifications, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Review and approve technical submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work effectively in a team environment to meet project deadlines and handle tasks under pressure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 4-5 years of proven experience in LV Switchgear estimation in the UAE.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of LV Switchgear systems and related calculations.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Communication: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical concepts to consultants, clients, and team members.
