Responsibilities:

• Analyzing project drawings, specifications, and scope of works
• Collaborating with the Design and Technical Team to clarify project details and specifications.
• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for joinery projects.
• Reviewing and comparing supplier quotes for materials and components.
• Researching and sourcing materials from suppliers to obtain accurate pricing.
• Carry out cost breakdown based on project scope and complexity.
• Evaluate production processes and labor needs based on project scope.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, encompassing materials, labor, and overhead & profit.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in joinery estimation, woodworking, and Out field.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Woodworking Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience and specialized training in joinery estimation may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proficiency in interpreting joinery and woodworking drawings and specifications.
• In-depth understanding of joinery and woodworking materials and processes.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Knowledge of local and outsourced suppliers and their pricing.
