Job Description

We are seeking an Estimator - Civil Engineer with experience in landscaping and greenhouse construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and supporting tendering processes to ensure competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed estimates for landscaping and greenhouse construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs. BOQ Preparation: Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns based on project drawings and specifications. Tendering & Bidding: Assist in preparing competitive bids by analyzing market rates and supplier quotations. Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination: Request, review, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Site Visits & Assessments: Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions, take measurements, and ensure accurate cost estimation. Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and specifications. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed cost records, estimation reports, and analysis for management review.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimation, with a focus on landscaping and greenhouse projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and cost structures. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software. Experience in preparing BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender documents. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. UAE experience preferred.
