About Us:

We are a leading fit-out company in Dubai, specializing in delivering high-quality interior solutions for commercial and residential projects. We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team, responsible for site visits, proposal development, quotation preparation, and submittals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the fit-out industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site visits to gather project requirements, developing proposals, preparing quotations, and submitting tenders. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Visits: Conduct site visits to gather project requirements, assess site conditions, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Proposal Development: Develop comprehensive proposals, including scope of work, timelines, and pricing, in response to client inquiries and tenders.
• Quotation Preparation: Prepare detailed quotations, including material costs, labor costs, and other expenses, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Submittals: Prepare and submit tenders, proposals, and quotations to clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Estimation and Costing: Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans, including material costs, labor costs, and other expenses, using company-approved software and tools.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate or capitalize on them.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the project team, including project managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure accurate and comprehensive proposals and quotations.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and market trends to inform estimation and costing decisions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve estimation processes, procedures, and tools to ensure best practices and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, or related field).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation engineering, preferably in the fit-out industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of fit-out projects, including materials, labor costs, and construction methods.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Software Skills: Proficient in estimation software, such as Autodesk, Revit, or similar tools.
• Language: Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills an advantage.
• UAE Experience: Previous experience working in the UAE fit-out industry is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
