We are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for cost calculations, and preparing accurate estimates of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating construction projects, with a focus on villas, warehouses, swimming pools, and fitout works. The Estimation Engineer will ensure that all associated costs for a project are considered at the tendering stage as well as cost control during execution stage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantity Surveying:

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Prepare and manage bills of quantities and other documentation.

2. Estimation:

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine accurate costs.
• Prepare detailed and competitive tender submissions.

3. Budgeting:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial constraints.
• Track and report on project expenditures and variances from the budget.

4. Cost Control:

• Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions to minimize expenses.

5. Tendering and Bidding:

• Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

6. Risk Analysis:

• Assess potential risks associated with project costs and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide input on cost implications of design changes and construction methods.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present regular cost reports and updates to the Project Manager and clients.
• Maintain detailed records of all estimation and cost control activities.

8. Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost projections.
• Support the project team with cost-related insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction industry, preferably within the UAE.
• Proven experience in estimating construction projects, including villas, warehouses, swimming pools, and fitout works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
