Job Description

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering , or a related field.

2. Proven experience working as an Estimation Engineer in facility management industry.

3. Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and regulations.

4. Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and estimation software.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Strong organizational and time management skills.

11. Knowledge of project management principles and practices.

12. Familiarity with cost estimating standards and methodologies.

Requirements

1. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.

2. Collaborate with project team to define scope of work and project objectives.

3. Conduct thorough site visits to gather information for accurate cost estimation.

4. Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

5. Develop detailed project schedules and timelines.

6. Identify potential risks and propose suitable mitigation strategies.

7. Communicate project estimates and plans to clients and project team.

8. Review and analyze bid proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.

9. Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.

10. Continuously monitor project cost and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.

11. Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and project team.

12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to ensure accurate estimations.
