Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimation and Design Engineer specializing in fire maintenance and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fire protection systems, coupled with experience in estimation, design, and project management within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed site surveys and assessments to understand client requirements for fire protection systems.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for fire maintenance contracts and projects.
• Design fire protection systems including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems, etc., ensuring compliance with local regulations and client specifications.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to develop comprehensive solutions that meet client needs and budget constraints.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to provide accurate estimates and designs.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and procurement of materials required for project execution.
• Conduct technical presentations and meetings with clients to explain proposed designs and project plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimation, design, and project management within the fire protection industry in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of local fire codes, regulations, and standards (including NFPA, UAE Fire and Life Safety Code).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
