Job Description

An ERP Manager with Navision experience is responsible for managing and optimizing the Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP system within an organization. This role involves overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and support of the Navision system, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to ensure its effective use in supporting business processes and achieving organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP system.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Navision solutions.
• Ensure that the Navision system is properly integrated with other business systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize system efficiency.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and streamlined business processes within the Navision system.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, supply chain, and operations, to align the Navision system with their specific needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed, ensuring effective vendor management and support.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system-related inquiries in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals and standard operating procedures, to support system usage and training.
• Implement and enforce security measures and access controls to safeguard the Navision system and data.
• Ensure data integrity by establishing backup and recovery procedures and conducting regular data audits.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and features of Microsoft Dynamics Navision, recommending upgrades or enhancements as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an ERP Manager or similar role, with specific expertise in managing Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
• In-depth knowledge of Navision ERP system implementation, configuration, and customization.
• Strong understanding of business processes, particularly in finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Proficient in project management methodologies, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics Navision (e.g., Microsoft Certified Dynamics NAV Specialist) are a plus.
