Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Support and Navision Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance and support for both internal users and the company's ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV). The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting IT issues and providing support for Navision (Dynamics 365 Business Central) to ensure efficient system operation and smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support:
• Provide technical support to employees for software, hardware, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
• Assist with network issues, including connectivity and system access problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and hardware.
• Monitor and manage IT assets, ensuring proper inventory tracking and security.
• Maintain and manage access control systems, user accounts, and password resets.
• Provide end-user training on various software and hardware solutions.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of new IT systems and infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining IT documentation for troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
Navision Support:
• Provide support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), including user queries, troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Ensure proper system setup, including customization of NAV as per business requirements.
• Help users with common tasks like reporting, creating entries, and handling transactions within the Navision system.
• Work with internal teams to configure and maintain business workflows in Navision.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify system requirements and suggest improvements or enhancements.
• Ensure proper user training for various modules in Navision (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory).
• Perform regular updates and patches on the Navision system to ensure security and functionality.
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and integrations as necessary.
• Liaise with Navision software vendors for support and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in IT support and/or ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) support.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central (support, configuration, and maintenance).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite and other productivity tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of database management and system security best practices.
Desirable Skills:
• Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
• Experience with ITIL processes or service management tools.
• Familiarity with SQL or database management.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and services.
• Knowledge of other ERP systems is a plus.
