Manages the Equipment function within assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). Leads subordinate Supervisors, Foreman and teams of Equipment Operators who operate several types of power construction equipment, such as compressors, pumps, hoists, derricks, cranes, shovels, tractors, scrapers, or motor graders, to excavate, move, and grade soil, erect structural and reinforcing steel, and pour concrete or other hard surface paving materials. Allocates equipment and personnel based upon project priorities. Communicates effectively with client, project personnel and team members. Coordinates proper maintenance and repair of assigned equipment. Ensures safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements at all times. Completes all necessary administrative requirements and performs duties of subordinate personnel as required.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the "General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities" addendum.

Basic Job Requirements High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and six (6) years to nine (9) years related experience.
Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Must have a Secret Security Clearance
Perform sweeper operations IAW the requirements of the PWS, the MOA between 386 ECES and 386 EOSS, and Appendix F on the AASAB airfield and associated taxiways and ramps, including the "Rock" and the "Quarry" areas.
Provides 24-hour daily on-call sweeper operations capability with a 15-minute response time for airfield operations.
Must be certified and able to operate.
2 years airfield driving and operator experience or similar equivalent construction operator experience.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
