Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment used in oil and gas projects.
• Evaluate the safety and compliance of cranes, lifting equipment, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), Telescopic Self-Propelled Aerial Work Platforms (TSAWP), lifting gears, and earth-moving equipment.
• Perform operator training and assessments to ensure competency and safety standards are met.
• Inspect and assess the condition and safety of elevators, escalators, and scaffolds.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all inspections comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address any issues related to lifting equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in a Mechanical Engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience with lifting equipment in oil and gas projects.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with cranes, lifting equipment, MEWPs, TSAWP, lifting gears, earth-moving equipment, and scaffolds.
• Experience in operators' training and assessment.
• Familiarity with the inspection and safety protocols for elevators and escalators.
• LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) certification is highly advantageous.
• Immediately available to join us. (Visit visa / cancelled visa / Spouse visa ) will be preferred to those who are presently in UAE.
