Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Epicor Functional Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in full end-to-end project lifecycle implementations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all Epicor modules, particularly within manufacturing environments, and must possess solid expertise in SQL Server 2016 or above. The role requires the candidate to provide consultancy and support for the configuration, optimization, and implementation of Epicor ERP systems across various functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end Epicor ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements for manufacturing clients.
• Provide functional expertise in the core modules of Epicor, including Sales , Service , Production , Projects , Material Management , Supply Chain , Financials , and Asset Management .
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and objectives, and translate them into Epicor ERP solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis, system design, and configure Epicor ERP based on client specifications and requirements.
• Design and implement workflows, reports and dashboards within the Epicor System.
• Manage and support the integration of Epicor with other business systems and third-party applications.
• Develop detailed documentation, including system configurations, business process flows, test cases, and training materials.
• Lead user training and provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring system performance meets operational requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Assist in data migration activities and ensure data integrity during implementation.
• Stay current with Epicor software updates and new features to provide ongoing optimization recommendations to clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Epicor ERP solutions, including full project lifecycles (from requirement gathering to go-live and post-implementation support).

• Proven experience working with manufacturing companies and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industry best practices.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2016 or above, including experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to configure and implement Epicor ERP systems according to industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to senior management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and project implementations.

Desired Skills:

• Epicor ERP certification (any version).
• Experience with Epicor Advanced Data Management (ADM) , Business Process Management (BPM) , and Dashboard/Reporting tools .
• Familiarity with other related tools such as Power BI , SSRS , or other reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of integration techniques (API, EDI, etc.) within Epicor and third-party systems.
