Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Environmental Engineer to join our team, based in Kuwait. This position is responsible for working on the Environmental Engineering elements on a major government housing program.
We envisage success in this role to include; Conducting audits for environmental and sustainability compliance on-site, taking into consideration understanding of the implementation of green certification systems, sustainable site operations, and client-specific environmental standards and policies. Conducting material approvals for sustainability, on-site audits and guiding the supervision teams against sustainability and environmental compliance requirements. Preparing environmental report on sites of non-compliance and support site teams on complying with remediation actions, if any. Leading the site auditing, reporting, and provision of reports to the Client. Supporting the wider KEO team in reviewing submissions by others and ensure that the Client's sustainability requirements and environmental aspects on site follow the Kingdom's regulations. Collaborating with KEO teams and the Client's specialist team. Writing reports associated with progress and site audit compliance associated both with environmental and sustainability/materials compliance aspects. Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of relevant experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
You will have previously worked on large scale projects within a consultancy scope in the GCC.
Native Arabic speakers will be viewed favourably as the client environment has some departments where Arabic language skills will be needed.
