Overview:Applied Technology and Management (ATM) a Geosyntec Company, is seeking an Entry-level Geotechnical Engineer to support project needs in the Dubai, United Arab Emirates office. The selected candidate will support coastal, marine, and structural engineering design projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools;
- Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
- Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures;
- Follow instructions and interact with engineers, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel.
- Bachelors degree in civil, geotechnical, coastal, water resources engineering, or related subject. (required)
- Advanced degree in civil, geotechnical, coastal, water resources engineering, or related subject. (preferred)
- Experience with MatLab, AutoCAD, and numerical marine modeling software. (preferred)
- Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. (required)
