Job Purpose: The Enterprise Data Architect will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the data architecture vision, strategy, and standards across the organization. This individual will be responsible for designing, structuring, and managing enterprise data systems to ensure they align with organizational goals and support data-driven decision-making. The Enterprise Data Architect will also work closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to drive data architecture initiatives, promote data governance, and improve data quality, security, and accessibility.Key Responsibilities:1. Data Architecture Development & Strategy:

• Design, develop, and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint to meet both short- and long-term business requirements.
• Define data strategy, including data integration, data governance, and data lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align data architecture with business objectives and technology solutions.

2.Data Modeling & Integration:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support new and existing applications.
• Establish and maintain data integration standards, including data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to build and optimize data pipelines for reliable data flow across systems.

3.Data Governance & Quality:

• Develop and enforce data governance policies and practices to ensure data accuracy, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Monitor and improve data quality across the organization, establishing processes for data cleansing, validation, and error handling.
• Work with data stewards to promote a data-driven culture and support compliance with regulatory requirements.

4.Technology & Tools Management:

• Evaluate and select data management, storage, and analytics tools based on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Manage data architecture frameworks, tools, and platforms such as cloud storage, databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Oversee data architecture integration with enterprise solutions (ERP, CRM, BI tools, etc.).

5.Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:

• Act as a data architecture subject matter expert (SME) to support and advise IT, business analysts, and data engineering teams.
• Provide guidance and training to other teams on data standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure data architectures and reduce data risk exposure.
