About the Role

We are looking for an Enterprise Applications Specialist with extensive technical and functional expertise in Odoo ERP to join our team at DAH in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will manage, customize, and optimize our Odoo system, while also facilitating seamless integration with external platforms like our website. This role demands a unique blend of Odoo expertise and general IT proficiency to support and enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo System Administration & Customization

Administer and maintain the Odoo ERP system for optimal performance, security, and functionality.

Customize modules to align with business needs and implement new functionalities.

Manage system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure system stability.

Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and maintain data security.

Odoo Integration

Integrate Odoo with external systems, including our website, ensuring seamless data flow (e.g., products, customer details, orders).

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues while providing technical guidance.

Maintain integrations with third-party apps, payment gateways, and shipping platforms.

Functional Support & User Training

Provide functional and technical support to Odoo users, resolving day-to-day issues.

Conduct training sessions and create user-friendly guides for efficient system use.

Act as the primary point of contact for Odoo-related queries.

Reporting & Data Analysis

Develop custom reports and dashboards to deliver actionable business insights.

Enhance reporting capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.

General IT Support

Perform routine IT tasks like network management, system maintenance, and hardware/software troubleshooting.

Assist in the setup and configuration of IT systems to ensure smooth operations.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, HR) to enhance workflows through Odoo.

Stay updated on Odoo advancements and propose process improvements.

Contribute to the ongoing development of IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Key Requirements

Experience

Proven experience in Odoo administration, customization, and integration.

Strong understanding of Odoo's technical and functional aspects (Odoo certification preferred).

Experience integrating third-party applications (e.g., websites, CRMs, payment systems) with Odoo.

Solid background in IT support, including network management and troubleshooting.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Python, XML, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies for Odoo customization.

Familiarity with web technologies (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for integration purposes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Expertise in creating custom reports and dashboards within Odoo.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Other Requirements

Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce and Odoo system integration.

Familiarity with ERP best practices and a broad understanding of business processes like sales, manufacturing, and HR.
