Based out of the Dubai office, you will manage and drive sales into the largest enterprise accounts across the Middle East (GCC countries focus). Such accounts include, but are not limited to MNC\'s, large enterprise holding companies, organizations and service providers that have substantial requirements for Cloudflare solutions. Your enterprise selling activities will include a "hunter" type activities to proactively penetrate the targeted list of named accounts, detailed account planning, focused relationship building and leading effective sales campaigns to successful closure. You should demonstrate the capability to work with extended teams, both internally involving cross functional resources and externally involving channel and alliance partners. The ideal candidate will possess both: a major account sales background in related technology solutions, primarily software based (SASE, ZT, FAAS, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, DDOS) that enables them to drive engagement with senior level decision makers, including C-level, within Cloudflare\'s target customers and prospects. Industry experience selling into Government, manufacturing, BFSI, Service Providers, Energy and other Enterprise verticals in the assigned territories is required in this role. As an Account Executive, you\'ll be responsible for developing and executing against a sales strategy/plan for the assigned accounts, as well as driving large account sales to achieve revenue targets. Therefore, you must have and demonstrate a strong network of contacts with decision makers across the region, and have experience selling similar solutions to these accounts. You will have an intuitive understanding and experience with the key business and technical needs of these large accounts and will create and deliver compelling value propositions to them for Cloudflare solutions. Additional responsibilities will include
Manage sales cycles and contract negotiations in a matrix organization
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
Work with channel and alliances relevant to the accounts whenever appropriate
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Fluent in both English and Arabic
Proven direct touch selling experience with a track record of achieving/overachieving targets, and relationships with key decision makers within large complex accounts across the gulf region
18+ years of direct selling proven experience with at least 10 years of selling to largest enterprise accounts
Manage all milestones of a sales cycle, uncovering the opportunities, qualifying, developing and closing.
Direct experience selling network security solutions and services
5+ years experience working for a cybersecurity vendor in related technologies such as SASE, ZT, FAAS, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, DDOS is required (preferably cloud based) .
Prior experience of being part of an early sales team helping drive traction in the region is highly preferred
Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
Understanding of computer networking and "how the internet works"
Computer engineering or computer science or similar studies background with ability to sell highly technical solutions, ability to scale up with evolving technologies and an always learn aptitude for new technical concepts & solutions (MIS or MBA a plus)
Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment
Highly experienced working with SalesForce. Knowledge of accurate reporting and forecasting and the importance of pipeline generation.
Full knowledge of the competition landscape, market trends and ability to do competitive displacements at major enterprise accounts
