We are seeking an experienced

Engineering Supervisor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid hotel engineering experience and will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all engineering activities within the hotel to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all facilities and equipment. The Engineering Supervisor will oversee a team of engineers and technicians and ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and cost control practices.

Key Responsibilities

:

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the hotel's engineering department, ensuring all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, etc.) are in optimal working condition. Lead a team of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring they are performed efficiently and up to standard. Perform regular inspections of the hotel's infrastructure and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely repairs and upgrades. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure that guest needs and operational requirements are met. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as local building codes. Oversee and manage preventive maintenance programs for all hotel equipment and systems. Maintain a schedule for repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance to minimize disruption to hotel operations. Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency in operations. Monitor and record energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings and sustainability initiatives. Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors for any specialized engineering services or equipment needs. Provide support for special projects, renovations, and other technical requirements. Report on department performance, maintenance issues, and other relevant metrics to the management team.

Qualifications

:

Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems. Proficient in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex hotel systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance within the hotel industry. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

: Experience working with hotel-specific maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).

Requirements

:

Relevant technical or engineering degree or certification (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering). Valid technical certifications as required by local law or hotel industry standards. Own visa required. Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
