Key Accountabilities

Develop and ensure quality of engineering deliverables in compliance with the project requirements with deviations thoroughly documented as per the project procedures

Understand clearly contents of key Engineering problems as a responsible person for Engineering execution, review priorities among those, provide lead engineers with a clear direction (action plan, priority, timeframe).

Ensure implementation of "Replication Philosophy" in the Engineering execution

Make "fit for purpose" and timely decisions concerning approvals/rejections for deviations,

systematically referring to cases as a benchmark,

carrying out due diligence as required,

considering both mitigation of technical risks and that for execution risks, such as impact on Procurement and Construction activities.

Deliver Engineering deliverables as per schedule without impacting succeeding Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities.

If there is any delay, notify relevant entities/stakeholders well in advance to find a solution to the problem(s).

Ensure quality and timely completion of Vendor Engineering and documentation, so that NO major technical problems are "exported" from Vendors to Site for construction.

Ensure

Engineering activities are fully completed by in-house engineering, 3rd party engineering team. Operating centers as per planned schedule.

No major pending engineering activities and problems are "exported" to field engineering team and construction activities.

Establish strong teamwork within PMT Engineering team and site team.

Perform thorough technical reviews of all technical change proposals, particularly those originated from Pre-FEED/FEED, to facilitate a timely decision-making process

Participate in internal and External key technical reviews, in-house meetings, project meetings, tender evaluation, bid submissions, and management meetings.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.

15 years' experience mainly within Oil & Gas industry, of which 8 years' operating at project engineering management level with overall responsibility for engineering execution, of which 3 years' operating in a position of one of key engineering disciplines (Process, Civil/Structure, Piping, Elec, Instrument, etc.) as a core and solid technical discipline backbone

Broad and extensive knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.

Broad knowledge of onshore/offshore facilities design, construction and operations, with in-depth knowledge of the following engineering areas: Process, Civil/Structure, Piping, Elec, Instrument, material & corrosion, Piping, Mechanical Engineering, plus Material & Corrosion.

Broad knowledge of engineering coordination/administration (Document Control, MDR, Progress, Engineering tools including models, advance work packages, handover system, etc.)

Proficient in all industry used software, CAD, 3D modelling, ETC.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.
