Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Engineering Manager to join our team, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

We envisage success in this role to include; Having technical responsibility for planning, interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating the engineering assignments and activities on the project/programme. Previous experience in Traffic Engineering would be essential as the role responsibilities include carrying out feasibility and optioneering studies for traffic management, developing appropriate design drawings and reporting and technical specifications. Developing concepts, feasibility studies and guidelines for new project scope to address project/programme objectives. Establishing the scope of Engineering Execution Plan that ensures: the project/program is executed in accordance with Engineering Department Procedures; Technical Risk Assessments are comprehensive and complete; Safety Practices are implemented; and statutory and company specific design reviews are undertaken and are in accordance with quality assurance (QA) procedures.

Participating in project planning prior to creation of ramp's and proposals to provide technical guidance in the engineering and construction review of technical documents. Providing inputs to, owns and reviews project schedules and approves staffing estimates for engineering personnel for new proposals and jobs as assigned.

Reviewing major changes or deviations in project scope, project material quantities, budget or schedule, and assists particularly with defining the change, obtaining accurate estimates of the hours involved, and recommending budget adjustment Monitoring the use of available engineering computer programs, technical advances and engineering management control techniques on the projects assigned. Formulates and recommends for approval, engineering plans and programs for assigned projects. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 years plus work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or of similar relevance - the ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering background.
