Responsibilities:Thoroughly examine and understand client specifications to ensure compliance and alignment with project requirements.Lead the mechanical design of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, and other static equipment using PV-Elite software.Oversee the detailed engineering and preparation of drawings for heat exchangers and pressure vessels, adhering to ASME U & U2 stamp requirements and ASME Quality Manual guidelines.Prepare and submit design documents to AI & Client for approval, actively engage in resolving and closing their comments to ensure timely approvals.Maintain accurate documentation and revision status of drawings in accordance with ASME Quality Manual requirements. Prepare Material Requisitions (MR) and Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC) for material procurement to ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials.Conduct stress analysis of components using WRC and ASME Code Calculations, utilizing tools such as Nozzle Pro.Attend and successfully clear ASME Audits and Client Audits related to design activities.Review Design Appraisals (DAD) from Professional Engineers (PE) and prepare resolutions to comment as required.Review vendor designs and drawings to ensure compliance with codes and standards, coordinating with vendors as necessary for partial or full subcontracting.Collaborate with Quality and Production departments to resolve fabrication queries and other issues encountered during fabrication.Provide technical support to the Estimation design team as needed.Manage vendor correspondence, expediting, issue, and schedule control of vendor documents and drawings.Required Skills:Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.15-20 years of experience in ASME U & U2 certified heat exchanger manufacturing companies.In-depth knowledge of ASME Codes (Sec VIII Div 1, Sec VIII Div 2), TEMA, API 661, and major client specifications.Proficiency in PV-Elite, Nozzle Pro, and other relevant engineering software.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
