As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in the hotel\'s operation and maintenance department.
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
• Install and connect HVAC systems, including ductwork, pipes, and wiring.
• Test and adjust HVAC system performance to ensure optimal efficiency and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of HVAC supplies and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.
• Respond to emergency HVAC calls as needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete HVAC projects.
• Assist in training and providing guidance to junior technicians.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, codes, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with HVAC tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC schematics and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• EPA HVAC certification (preferred).
